Supply of Breeding and Meat stock arrives from Australia at KLIA Airport to fulfill Nation demand

March 24 2020, Sepang: In the midst of current and severe crisis caused by Covid19 worldwide, livestock supplier, Harris Luqman Group Sdn Bhd (HLG) defied all odds and successfully imported an urgent load of breeding and meat stock.

Today, HLG imported nearly 1400 animals via MAS Cargo Airline. MH6422 took off from Perth, Australia via Cargo flight on March 23, 2020 and landed at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 7am, March 24 2020 before being distribute to Klang Valley and Government breeding programs.

We commend Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and Department of Veterinary Services Malaysia (DVS) for their assistance in prompt approval whilst under the Movement Control Order (MCO), as well as the Australian Government for prompt approval on Export Permits.

This initiative by the company has ensured that farmers, livestock and meat traders will continue to have a regular supply at any time when demand is back to normal.
